12 year old win money?

My little brother wants to save lots of money so he can buy himself a new guitar, thing is, he's only 12, how can he win money, he can't go to the neighbours washing cars and stuff cos this city is insecure, but what can he do to win money, any ideas?

tell him to ask his parents for extra chores around the house to earn money. i did that and earned $50 in 2 weeks.
