1200 watt Sony Xplod amp powering a 10" Pile sub. Any dangers to my 00' neon?

any problems it might start? i have a capacitor should i hook that up?

  1. You might kill your battery. Make sure you a big enough fuse or you could damage your car. A battery capacitor will always help your sound and your battery.  Get one from ebay, they kill you at Best Buy or your local audio store. 1 farad per 1000 watts, but I personally would get 3 - 5 farad if you can. Never hurts and if you upgrade you don't have to get a bigger one. Make sure your installer knows what they are doing or they could mess up your car and your system.

  3. If it is wired properly then no problems should be started.  No, the capacitor is not necessary its not a very power intensive setup.  Sometimes capacitors may even cause problems with your subs.

    So pretty much as long as its wired correctly, nothing should happen to your car.
