13 Year Old Volunteering in A Oregon Nursing Home?

I want to volunteer in a Oregon nursing home or animal shelter near Tigard/Tualatin area. Do you know any places that I don't have to bring my parent with me?

it's great that you want to volunteer, but i do not know any places. The nursing home i volunteered at a long time ago required a minimum age of fifteen. You could see if this has changed sense i was a kid, i doubt it has though. A nursing home isn't the best place though to be honest. i remembered my experience as boring because there honestly wasnt' much to help with. Try to do the animal shelter if you can. it sounds a lot better.
