  1. This is a good example of how to get one's money's worth from the airline.  Whoever has arranged the flight for you should alert the airline that an unaccompanied minor will be travelling alone and may require transit assistance.  You should also remind them about this when checking in.

It's nothing to be embarrassed about, in fact letting people know you are travelling alone may even get you some nice perks, like being served your meal first, or getting your headset before the others do, that sort of nice thing.  The inflight crew might stop by more often to see if you need anything, so don't be shy!

At your destination/s the airline should have ground crew meeting the plane as a matter of course.  With your heads up, there may be someone assigned specially to help you get your bags and meet your next plane.  Remember these people are there to help you - that's their job!

To stay safe, along the way make quick calls or text messages to check-in with your parents/guardian/whoever's meeting you at the last destination.  If you have no cellphone, then make collect calls from the payphone if time permits.  Try not to share too many details about yourself - where you live, where you're going, etc - with strangers, not even the airline ground crew.  The airline people should know your name and how they're going to help you, and if they don't, go back and get assistance from one of the inflight attendants.

Have a fun and safe flight!

  2. ooh hav fun

  3. There is not much too it, as you already know.

    Everything is labeled too.

Ticket counters will be with whatever carrier you're at.

Which gate you fly out of will be on your ticket.

When you arrive and exit out of the gate area you will walk right pass the baggage retrieval area.

Just keep a copy of your itinerary and keep whatever paperwork they give you at the airport.

Oh yeah and call the night before and the day of to confirm your seat and departure time.

  4. You would need to travel with Flight attendant because you are under 14, and they will do everything for you dont worry..
