  2. First of all, ignore those spammers.

It seems like your Mom is trying to subvert your money making interests! That's wrong! I used to get paid $5 every week for doing chores! God, that sucked!

I've heard that 13 is the appropriate age to start baby-sitting. Why does she think you're too young? Try reasoning with her  that you are old/mature enough to start babysitting or doing chores for money.

Try networking with other family members or friends for things you could do to make extra cash. E.g. light yard work, cleaning, organization projects, car wash etc. Especially, since its summer.

Also, if you hear people complain that they need something done. Like my 82-yr-old landlady always complains that her chandelier needs cleaning and she can't get up there to take it down and clean it properly.

Just kindly suggest that you're available to help out and most nice people (I'm generalizing here) will offer to give you some cash for your hard work.

You might have to do stuff like that till you are old enough to get a work permit. We all had to do it!

    Good Luck!

  3. Just ask your mom to let you do chores around the house for money and if she says no then tell her that she needs to either do that or let you get a job babysitting because thats just rediculous. You're able to get your babysitting lisence at 12, must mean that they consider you old enough to babysit!  That or tell her she needs to give you pocket money LOL
