  1. I just think that your dad is afraid of hot topic cause he doesn't now anything about it. last x-mas i was in hot topic and a young boy really wanted this way cool marlyn manson tee. she said that he was a devil worshiper and no he could not have the shirt. i felt so bad, i have 3 boys we used to shop there when they were in the early teens i didn't have a problem with it. your dad needs to relax and let you be who you are. good luck

  2. that is sooooo not fair!!!!!!!!

i used to think it was a store only for goths but i went in there and they have such cute stuff!!!

its not emo. its a storewith music clothes. like with bands on the shirts and stuff.

and i got these way hot green, purple, and bloo skinny jeans!

    =]]

ur dad is being so mean and unfair!

and im a prep. and i shop there. that says something. [[way not emo]]

  3. There are better places to shop than hot topic...and yeah it's an emo store :|

There are a few cute things from time to time, but anyone who shops there on a regular basis looks pretty emo to me.

  4. i love hot topic... im not emo/scene/goth or anything. but i like hello kitty so i get alot of my hello kitty stuff there. and the ppl that work there arent annoying.

just tell him that your not emo.so it doesnt matter.

  5. I think you could cut up some black shirts you have an make them into your own emo style. Or you can just sit your parents down, and let them know that emo is the new fashion, just like they had their own weird fashion back in the day. Just talk to them maturely. And tell them the way you dress does not reflect the way you are.

  6. HATERZZ IT IS NOT AN EMO STORE GO THERE!!!

  7. durka durka, hot topic is not for emos

    i shop there

    its "convince"

you can't its his choice, sorry

  8. Hot Topic really isn't just specifically one thing.

For Instance, there are even Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Elvis, and Lynyrd Skynyrd merchandise (shirts) sold there.

So, for a more broader perspective, it can correctly be labeled, if it must, a pop culture retail store.

Some of the people who shop there may claim their selves as "emo", but that doesn't mean the store, or the workers do/are.

It's really all about the music, hence the many band shirts and cds.

But your father has the final word in the subject, and you must respect his wishes.

  9. Convents...........OHHHH you mean "Convince"

You should just respect his wishes. Being emo isn't the coolest thing in the world. Hot Topic isn't either. Seriously. You're so young and impressionable. It's so lame.

  10. maybe he wouldn't if u could spell think correctly
