13 and want to start acting,modeling,or singing?

Question

hey im 13 and im going to be a freshmen in Gilroy,california nd i really want to start modeling or singing or even acting im 5 foot 8 and i can be shy but i just want to go for it can anybody tell me where a good agency is that wont rip you off and can get me started on this ?! im really interested in doing one of those things. so basically can anyone suggest a good agency! in california! please thanks! :D and please no rude comments...

well, i kno how u feel im 13  to and im interested in the same things, but, im in utah... i kno of a place called W Talent....  im not sure if its in CA,

Really, the only way to tell if an agency is good up to your standards is to go and visit them along with several others.

The number one rule when you do go and visit and agency is pay attention to whether they ask you for money before they do anything else. Money shouldn't matter, it should be all about you and your career.

I'd start of with modeling for you though because it's not uncommon for models to start off in that path but broaden out into Acting (maybe singing).

Also with acting and singing, it looks good if you do a lot of participation in your schools as far as plays and choir (getting solos), all that jazz.

This is the most I could help not having hands on experience with agencies. I do want the same thing as you and I'm 15. I'm trying to get more experience before I do anything else though.

um if you want to be a model you should clean up your attitude becouse on your other question with the pics askin people if you could be a model on the best answer reponse you put go to h** cause they said something that you didnt like  i really dont think your ready and just cuz your tall doesnt mean anything bye and if your sensitive about THIS comment and you do become a model YOU GOT SOMETHIN COMMIN. (no offense jus my opinoin)

Ford model agency is were tyra banks started, so you'll have a better future in MODELING

Clear Talent Group is everything, acting, modeling, AND Singing, and they have alot of famous people as clients.

OK, so if being a freshman is hard enough lol, sign up for theatre class if the school has it. intro to theatre is what i took and i was petrified to get on stage. now I'm a senior and i live to act. my advice is to try theatre because honestly that class will tell you if your cut out for that type of business. and another thing checkout http://www.proscout.com/ see if the tryout things are in your location. best of luck. acting is my chosen path. hope you succeed.

So does every other 13 year old girl in America, so you have to compete with millions and it won't be easy and you have to have real talent

If you think you are unique and no one can do it better, until you show up at a audition then you see literally 100 other girls that look just like you.  No joke I have seen this a million times (not me I don't bother with these jobs)
