Ok so my birthday is less then 3 weeks away and i am turning 13...i am planning to have a sleepover themed party[ i still havent come p with the theme] but before the sleepover, i want to take my friends out somewhere, DEFINETILY NOT bowling...or rock climbing ... or any other thing smililar to those...i was thinking santa cruz beach boardwalk but my mom isnt willing to pay for the price of tickets for about 5 - 6 girls cause thats going to be super expensive...do you think it is reasonable to ask my friends to bring 30 dollars each to pay for their own tix? And any other suggestions on sleepover themes, movies we can watch at the sleepover, and places i can take my friends before the sleepover would be VERY HELPFUL...and long answers please!! This is putting stress on me!!!!

  1. im about to turn 12 and here are some themes i might do...

olympics theme- have races (or any games related to that)

    spa theme

    chocolate theme

    american idol theme

    arts/crafts theme

or you could just have a traditional sleepover and listen to music, talk about school/etc, and dont go to sleep!

i dont know where you live but some places to go before the sleepover are... waterparks, theme parks, zoo, pottery painting place, horseback riding, the beach, fun center, chuckie cheeses (it might be babyish but i love that place!), museum, whatever you want- i personally wouldnt go somewhere before the sleepover--- but those are some cool fun places!

and im not too sure about telling the kids to bring their own money but im sure if your mom talked to their mom that the mom would understand...cuz if it was just a regular day and your mom brought you and your friend there for no reason the friend would bring money-right?

well,,,happy 13th bday and have fun! hope i gave you some good ideas!

  2. Well asking your friends to bring money isn't exactly the right thing when your the one who is hosting the party.

Before the sleepover why don't you and your friends go to the mall and have a scavenger hunt or have everyone dress up nice and go out for dinner.

The best type of movies to watch at a sleepover are of course scary movies. Maybe you can try renting all the "SAW" movies, or the grudge one and the grudge two. Also it's a good idea to have snacks and beverages.

Prank phone calls, sometimes it can seem immature but when your turning thirteen and with your friends i bet it's a blast. Call up some boys and be sure to block your number, say things like "ooh, i cant believe you'd cheat on me".

Blasting music is always fun. Tell your friends they can bring over some cd's if they'd like. Maybe if you have a digitial camera that records videos you can record yourselves singing and dancing then watch them and laugh at yourselves afterwards.

Take lots of crazy and funny pictures.

I hope some of my ideas helped, oh and have a great birthday !

  3. for my birthday i took my friends to a local amusement park and we had a camp out sleepover in my yard we set up our tent and had a great time we paid for the 5 girls(but they had a car load special 69.95 for the whole car but at the sleepover we had a movie marathon on a portable dvdplayerr it was a huge hit you could get fake movie posters and set them up all over place and make a mini movie theater (set up seats and buy popcorn bags and have a little fake concessionn stand) have fun hope i helped

  4. ok don't tell them to bring money because it will be a waste going go to see the dark knight its cool or go to like somewhere cool. then make the them rock. your welcome. p.s if u look like u do in your photo WOW!!!
