  1. id say its ok because i dont go by the books

ur just ganna have to clean the tank alot its ganna get dirty fast

    good luck

  2. They are all pretty small fish and they don't really need much room. But the more a room a fish has to swim in the happier it is. This might make all your fish un-happy. This also means you'll have to clean the tank more often. Maybe try getting a bigger tank or getting rid of some. Maybe 2 of each would be better.

  3. the corys are ok with three but the other fish need to school in groups of 6+

    try 3 cories

and 2 groups of 6 of any of the tetras

  4. yup! that will b okay. but when they grow older ...u might want to get a bigger 1.

  5. In my opinion that is way too many. I would go with one school of one of those types of fish not all of those types and I would up the number to a minimum of six fish in a school. A school of 6 or more black skirts, white skirts, OR serpae AND 6 cory cats in that size tank would be good. And that one inch per gallon stuff is c**p. It depends on numerous factorous including but not limited to: bio-load, temperament of the particular fish that are going into the tank, territoritality of the fish (how big of a territory they have), their compatiblity with tankmates, etc. You would want to add one school at a time. Maybe add the cory cats first let the bio-filter adjust (by letting the denitrifying bacteria grow) and then add a school of one type of the tetras. Be sure when you set up the tank to let it cycle before adding any fish. You may want to read up on the nitrogen cycle before even getting your fish tank and maybe stop by badmanstropicalfish.com and read some of the info there.
