13 month old breathing heavy/hyperventalating?

Hi again!

Quick question..recently when my daughter gets very excited (like if Im warming up a bottle for her & she cant wait to get it) she starts breathing very heavily -the only way I can think to describe it is almost like mini hyperventalting episodes

just wondering if this is pretty normal

Yeah, my kids did that when excited also :)

As long as her breathing is normally fine, I wouldn't worry :)

Yep, my daughter (23 months) does this all the time, it almost sounds kind of like asthmatic breathing.... but I have looked into it and apparently lots of little ones do it when they are excited - i think it's sort of cute really!

I have a 13 month old and he does the same. Especially when in the car seat or when trying to get attention. I'm glad to know it's pretty normal;)
