13 month old getting very clingy!?

Question

hoping my daughter is just going through a phase here but she is being extra clingy lately (shes a 13months)- I think she may be teething but then I thought shes been teething for like the last month so I could be totally wrong about that

Any suggestions for why the sudden clingyness? If she is teething would it really take a month for the tooth to pop? (she has 4 already but I dont remembr them taking that long-usually the symptoms lasted a week & poof there was a new tooth!!

Usually kids around that age start to go through a fear of being left alone. Even if they have never been left alone. I would just make sure she knows that you are always there and that even if you have to go some place you will come back. Good luck and this will pass.

i know some people wont agree but try to give her something that she feels safe with, a stuffed animal/blankie so that when your not around she can find comfort in that. also, play peek a boo a lot so she starts to understand the concept that if your gone you will always come back
