I have beach (the wood) color furniture from ikea

Well, you've got the beechwood color, kind of sandy or blond, right? And you like light gray...

Maybe work in some tans and browns - neutrals and earth tones.

Or work in some colors like moss or forest green, midnight blue or water blue.

What's on your windows, blinds, shades, curtains, shutters? Are they okay? Maybe silver metallic mini-blinds or blond wood blinds.

Do you want a theme? Like camoflage, which would work with your colors. Or woodsy or scholarly or high fantasy or ultramodern or city hip or sports?

Things to have: Your bed and dresser, of course. Do you have your computer in your room? Then a desk and chair.

DVD player, sure, but also a TV?

Beanbag chair?

Book shelves/ wall unit? Loft bed?
