13 year old girl in need of a weight loss buddy?

I want to lose about 20 - 25lbs.

I was wondering if anoyone else about my age shared a similar goal?

Uhm, if you do, could you leave your email address so we can share progress and keep each other motivated (its soo hard alone!).

  6. Cut out the High Fructose Corn Syrup and hydrogenated oils. These are both outlawed in Europe and for good reason.

  8. I am way older than you but I hope you find someone. This is a good idea. I am 49 & if you can't find anyone I am willing to try this I have to lose the same amount of weight. I beleive in eating healthy small meals I eat 1/2 apple & 1/2 banana everyday with peanute butter for protein with my snacks so if you don't mind an old person & can't find anyone we can figure out how to hold each other accountable for reaching our goals. You can e-mail me for my address but write the name of you question so I will remember it I get e-mail & the people don't remind me sometimes.

    If she isn't happy with her current weight, it doesn't hurt.

  11. girl. i bet you are a toothpick! Girl, if you realy must try to loose that much, find a real partner. An online friend can only do so much. For good weight loss, try dancing. belly dancing, tango and ballet are good for weight loss.

  14. Lol, I'm 13 and I want to lose weight, but I'm only looking for about 3-5 pounds. I might not be within your league of weight loss, but I know a lot about it, my mom;s an endocrinoligist, and I get lectured all the time

  20. I'm not 13...and actually I'm to old to be your buddy! (that wouldnt be proper)

    but when I was your age I had a similar need, and

    I just wanted to say...go to a doctor and ask for a diet plan

    (the one diabetics use is especially good)

    it'll give you something to go by, so you know what you can and cant have..it'll tell you just what to make for a meal and then eat no more, so you wont even have to worry if youre doing it right

    and most important, because it came from the doctor, it will be a balanced diet

    at your age, you are still growing your body and brain..and you have to have the right nutrition or else you could become sickly, or end up a shorter adult than you would habve been ,etcetaera(yes, really)

    so dont just cut down on food on your own, go to the doctor and ask, its simple and safe and will make it all easy for you

    and you can find someone who's doing THAT also to be buddies with, ok?

    So be safe, and be healthy...to be a healthy kind of thin is much better and more enjoyable  than to be a sickly kind of thin.

    (one tip towards that...it isnt just a matter of eating less...if you dont change how much exercise you regularly get, and you only diet, the weight wont stay off...you have to change how much exercise youre getting....take up running or cycling or swimming..get a gymn membership, go every day...you'll feel wonderful, really you'll love it.
