139 good IQ for 14?

I recently took an online IQ test and it says I am a 139. I've heard people say that online IQ tests are not very reliable. Is this true? And if it is, where can I get an official IQ test? I welcome any answers unless you simply accuse me of being stupid.

hey im fourteen too i got 137 tho. but then on another i got 98 then on another i got 140..but yea there not reliable. But you sometimes can get a iq test at your high school. Or at a book store like lakeshore or barnes and noble.

You're right, online IQ tests are very unreliable. Mensa will be able to provide you with an accurate one, but it won't be free.

Online IQ tests are very unreliable but they sure give us a little idea about our intelligence and for a14 yrs old it is very good.

Don't worry about it... I have taken IQ tests online too and some have said I have an IQ over 165 and others say that that I have a score around 135... My sister who I know is smarter then me received a score of 97 once. Usually, tests online are not accurate or reliable, but some are. If you want a reliable test you could try some place like mensa. In order to join mensa you have to have an IQ at or above the 98th percentile. Now, anything over 100 is usually average but 140 and up are usually viewed as mensa material. So if your test was somewhat accurate than you score is most likely around 139.

Like I told someone here before. IQ test was made to see who has special needs, not to see who is smart.

its not a matter of "is it good for a 14 year old" because IQ is not an age specific test, you have the same IQ at 14 that you will have when you are 85
