13th birthday party help...?

Um... I just turned 13 on August 3. I've been really busy during August and i don't know if i should even make a party, because September would be the only time i could make it. Anyways, Do you think it would be a good idea to do it in September even though my birthday was on August 3? How many weeks in advance should i send the invitations? Should we hire a DJ? What games would be good? What about food? How should i decorate my backyard to make it look like Hawaii? (i have a REALLY big backyard, so I'm willing to use that space, rather then inside) What food would be good with this theme? What about music(cool teen music to dance to) and fun stuff?

Please answer all these questions everyone! I want this party to be BIG (i want this party to be awesome), So any tips and suggestions would be great. I wanted to do my party at the beach, by unfortunately, I don't live beside the beach or ocean. Anyways, please answer all these questions and give extra suggestions and tips. If you have any stories about your 13 b-day party, that would be great, too!

Thanks!

xoxo

  1. 13 is always a fun party... i dont think its too late to have one!

send out invites 2 weeks before, so thers time to RSVP, HIRE A DJ, so that ther is something interesting... i think u should keep it simple like a pajama party or movie nite... ur choice tho... but keep it simple, since its already kinda late
