13th birthday party themes?

im turning 13 in june and i want a theme for it. if u could please include....

- wat we would do

- kinds of invitations

- any extra/cool things we could do

- party favors

what do you like to do?  Ice Skate, roller skate, dance?  go to the zoo   anything that you enjoy doing with your friends can be turned into a fun party  serve foods you and your Friends enjoy and have fun.  do not burden yourself with to many worries and you will have a good  time.  Happy Birthday

I think since your just turning 13 you should not have really like  a "theme". I just turned 13 last month. Anyway i think you should have just like a color theme. pick your favorite color and make everything that color. i know that most 13/teens don't usually want like planned out stuff. give everybody ideas to do stuff and maybe have out some games if you like that stuff. for your cake you should make it vanilla and while you mixing the batter or w/e put food coloring in ( to match the color theme ) by the way every color matches white. so in my opinion you should use your favorite color with white whether its black-white or yellow-white it'll be cool.( plus since it's like the beginning of summer bright is your friend ) Well, that's really all i can think of right now :) hope you get more ideas and have a happy birthday

glow in the dark have everyone meet to go cosmic bowling tell them to wear a lot of white and hand out glow sticks,earrings, bracelets, necklaces etc. after you go bowling go back to your house where you have black lights (which you can buy many places) just i case you don't already know black lights make white items glow! while at your house you can dance with music or play a game like hide and seek and things!

or crazy colors theme: have your guest like they just stepped out of an eighties music video and give a prize at the end of the night that is dressed the brightest and craziest. while at the party you can dance or have a fashion show to show of their crazy colors

mascaraed buy masks from party city and buy a lot of feathers and sequin and gem stones and have them decorate their own mask then have everyone model theirs. and give a prize to the best mask

since it is thirteen and as everyone knows, 13 is unlucky. so in order to make it so you dont have your 13th "year" be unlucky, you must do a 13th ritual that most people do. every single person i know did this.

what you do is not wear one item of clothing that contains white. no exceptions. you can not say the words "fun", "funny", "happy", or "goat". if any one of those words are said, you may as well cancel the party. now, what you do is perhaps have a pinyata, but it can not contain any color ANYWHERE (including the insides) that is the color of yellow. anywhere. another idea is cake, i do hear people enjoy their cake.

for invitations, you must put a picture of a hippo, wearing a som-brair-o (this is on the front) that above that it says "i know..." and then on the inside it reads "its my brithday. you can come. there might be a party." and then of course you fill in all that jazz on the inside. your name, when it is, they dont really care. just fill it out anyway.

party favors... are you 4?? they got cake. that covers EVERYTHING. oh but make sure you have and even number of balloons. if one pops, blow up another one. you must have the exact same number of balloons at the end from when you started.

p.s. another part of the ritual i forgot to mention is that you must wear blind folds. when someone walks through the door, stick a blind fold on them.

people of all ages like having things to do at a party be it music, dance, games or food that they can interact with is an ice breaker even if you all know each other well it gives you something to chat about. twister, poker. Themed lounge areas with different food or games like tarot cards or the card shark parlor. a finger nail polish & eye shadow  bar (hit the dollar store for supplies). Candy bar or top your own pizza station. Perhaps an American Idol or Dancing with the Stars type theme with a Karayoke machine with judges that are drawn from a hat with prizes. Costume parties are fun too.
