14-17 year old girls are pregnant?

jsut curious... how many girls my age are going through this?.... the reaosn i ask is ebcause i might and jsut wodnering how you might have done it?

Too many of you ask me.. I do not see why when there are so many forms of birth control out there and you can even get it free at the health department so i think if you are going to have s*x atleast get on birth control or tell the guy to cough up 75 cents for a condom.

If you are not pregnant i would be going and getting on birth control.

I started having s*x at the age of 16 but i made sure i was on birth control before it even took place.. (Depo shot)

By the way i am married to the one i lost my virginity too at the age of 16. We have been together now for 13 years with a 6 year old son whom was planned at the age of 21.

What a few of the people have said here is very rude and upsetting.

If you are pregnant then you will have some big chocies to make and no choice you make will be an easy one.  I am a mum of a three year old and at the age of 28 I sometimes struggle and I have a loving partner.  I could not image what it would have been like at your age.

No one has the right to label you any sort of name because you maybe pregnant - it only takes once.

In saying that if you are not pregnant then from now on you should be more careful.  Believe me you do not want to take another chance because you need to discover who who are before you start trying to raise a child - and that takes time.  Enjoy being a teenager - you have a long time to be able mum

First be sure of your condition by having a pregnancy test if you've been sexually active.  If you're not pregant and you're between 14-17, stop having s*x!  You're not ready to be a parent at that age.  Enjoy your youth now, but save the gift of your body and sexual intimacy for your future husband instead of cheapening it by "sharing" it with whoever.  The sexual union is really a God-given gift meant to be only between a husband and wife in a committed union.

How do I know this?  I was pregnant at 17 and 19 and it is hard having to grow-up with your babies.  It is a huge life-time responsibility.  Have you seen the "Baby Borrowers" TV show?  What you see on the show is so real and that is only for 3 days at a time....imagine years of that, day in and day out!  

Please finish school and go on to college before thinking about settling down with babies.  Make a wish list of what you want in a spouse and don't settle for anything less when guys come around.  Save yourself for that special "One".  You'll thank me later.  I've now been married 33 years and have 4 grandchildren.  If I could have changed things in the past, I would have waited at least until I finished college before having children with my husband.

I am 15, and I might be pregnant..and its a scary as* thing! Dont let those other people bring you down by calling you a w***e. I know that having s*x at a young age is not a good thing, but no one deserves to be called a w***e. My situation is different, but I refuse to have s*x anymore because I was raped when I was 14 and did get pregnant..If you are, you have more then just 1 option, and all of those options are gonna be hard as h**l! Theres keeping the baby, having an abortion, or giving it up for adoption. You just have to decide if you think you could really handle such a responsibility..Making your decision easier would be to talk to your family, see if they support your decision or not.

being pregnant during your teenage years takes alot away from you, things are going to be very hard for you. i'm 18 and i'm pregnant for the first time but i'm also engaged to be married to the father and we already live together and are financialy ready for a baby.

my point is i know some amazing teen moms and i know some who have really hurt their babies because they couldnt handle the responsiblity.

you should have waited and been more careful, you should never bring another life into this world with no plan.

whatever you do please dont get an abortion, if you dont want the baby give it up for adoption.

i think i am ... 16... i've only had s*x a few times with one person.. and he told me that no matter what happens he will stay with me. im so scared.
