14 and I might be starting dance for the first time ever..?

okayy so heres whats going on.

im 14 and have been homeschooled since the 5th grade.

& i live in mississippi.

im thinking about starting dance for the first time ever [[it would give me something to do and it sounds funn;and id meet other people there]]

but most of the people there have been dancing for a long time and i would feel awkward not knowing the basic steps or anything....

what should i do?! it starts august 7th so i have to make my mind up quick.

try it you could really enjoy it. dont b intimidated by experienced dancers. you could end up much better than them.

go for it..... i started for the first time ever at 11 [[last year]] and all my teachers were really nice about it all=] and now im in company and its only my second year. do it, it will be fun..... i love it♥

I'm 13 and I've been taking dance for a couple of months and I love it! Just be confident when you try out!

and to whoever posted below me how did you get into a company so fast and do you have an tips on getting to a higher level quicker?

It'll be a little awkward at first but you should be able to pick it up, especially if you practice. You might be placed in a class with younger people but if you improve the teacher will most likely switch you to a higher level class. You should definetely at least give it a try =)

By the way, what types of dance are you thinking of taking? And how often?
