  1. My brother didnt learn until he was 13. Its cool dude.

You can get a decent bike at Target/Wal-mart for a little more than $100. It would probably take you just a couple of hours to learn. If you have a garage, just ride in circles to start out. Then ride to the end of your driveway and back...and then around your street.

  2. There are places that are good at this sort of thing.

Phone up local cycling clubs and shops, and ask about cycling lessons.. explain your situation (phoning prevents embarrassment, as its fairly anonymous)

Ask your parents/guardians, as they'll know you never learnt.

Bike, you can get cheap outta the paper...anywhere between £20 and £200... although generally you get what you pay for

    Good luck!

  3. your in quite some trouble. usually you go with the training wheels but in your case... I would reccomend getting a bike finding a secluded area and just try and balance yourself when you feel confident try to ride the distance of your garage its only trial and error.

  4. Hey, nothing to be embarrassed about!  Forget that rubbish.

Ask a t good bike stores about what you can buy as an entry level bike and if they know of some one to teach you to ride. It is possible that someone from the store might volunteer to help you out too.

Here are some sites that could also be of help.

Whatever you do, learn to cycle! You will enjoy it for many years to come, it is worth the small effort.
