Hi!

We have a gorg little boy and about a week ago he replied 'yah' to my question 'do you want some pud-ding?' I was really shocked but it was lovely and he now answers 'yah' to breakfast, dinner and biscuit questions too lol!!

Since last week, I guess I have been listening really carefully to what he is saying and he says 'dog-gie' 'mum-my' (he seems to always have been able to say 'dad-dy'!!) 'na-na' (which I guess is a take on his brother's name). He also says ta when given things ...... is he doing okay?!!

  1. My 5 month old, hehe , I think she will be the loudest baby once she can talk. She knows if you don't look at her, she begins to cry and she will scream. Knows how to get your attention!

Of course, she can't talk yet lol, but she's loud with the baby talk and you can tell. When she wants to get her nappy she kicks herlegs continuously and she's baby talking, then she'll scream.

I now understand her, well at least I think I do.

  2. my son loves the word "hot"! he will point to the stove, microwave, candles, you name it he says it. Every time i give him food he asks if it is hot, if i say yes he will blow on it! It is so cute! He is 17 months. He "babbles" a lot, but his vocab is small. i would say yours is doing wonderful!

  3. How beautiful, what a well mannered little man, tah, so cute!! That is amazing he says doggie, isnt it great when they start talking?

My son is almost 16 months and says a few things, up, out, car, sanso (also his take on brothers name) Mummy, daddy, nonna,ta and quack, as 3 little ducks is his older bros fave song!

  4. Myself and my partner just got a fright reading your question as my daughter is saying the exact same words, and she is 14months. So don't think you've got anything to worry about.

Oh she also say tig-ga and we thought this was to do with he tigger toys just wondered if your boy was meaning the same?

It really is such a special stage when you hear them talk. Especially the words that they pick. Although she seems to use the same word for alot of different things this usually is ta or da. And again she says da dada and daddy all the time!
