  1. Go to the ED and get him checked out if you are worried.

104 is way too high for anyone. See a doctor soon, for your sons health.

  2. Get to the er 104 is realy bad I got up to 105 one time and went oncouncise so get to doctor I had the flu we found. Its seriouse im a doctor for 4 years 108 is death point get to er now wake him up

  3. I have been told that it is normal for a child to run fevers for no reason. If the fever is over 102 then you need to take him to the doctors and have him checked out. There is no sham in benign care full, The shame comes from not caring.

  4. keep giving him tylenol every 4 hours. everytime you give it to him check his temp. it should slowly go down.

    the rule of thumb is:

48 hours of a steady fever of 104

    or

72 hours of a steady fever of 102

if they have diarea or stop urinating or have either of the above take them to the er.

my aunt is a neo natel nurse and this is the guide line she gave me. if you are that worried make a doctor appt. but it just sounds like teething to me. let him sleep dont wake him. he needs his rest in order for his body to be able to fight it. and make sure he gets enough fluids. good luck sorry that he isnt feeling well.
