I'm 14 weeks pregnant. The past week or so I have had headaches that just will not go away regardless of what i do to try. So, this morning I woke up and had the WORST headache ever! I went to work and as i was working i started to feel so dizzy and everything just kept spinning. This has been happening since early this morning and im still feeling like i have to pass out. i have tried everything but it wont go away. the headache isnt as bad but the dizziness is CONSTANT and horrible. Is it normal to feel this way all day long? what wold cause it 9the headache and dizziness)?

  1. I am also 14 weeks pregnant and yesterday I noticed that I got dizzy when I got up or moved too fast. I also have a slight headache.

I did some research and like people before me already said it could be from not drinking enough fluids or eating enough. Today I drank more and eat more frequently and was only dizzy one time when I was in the shower (hot shower).

Hope this helps. I wouldn't worry too much, just take good care of yourself and be careful.

  2. it possible you can be dehydrate, that is what happens to me when i don't drink enough water, and eat some thing you have to keep up your strength up. your body is going through a change phase, the first three months are your critical months for you and your baby, you need all the proper intake of nutrients, your going to have reserve a lot of that energy for later during your trimester, just take it easy. i know your excited but take it easy, you want to be healthy for your baby.

  3. dizziness should be normal but fainting is something you need to tell your doctor about asap. the baby is drawing a lot of blood away from your extremities.

  4. Being pregnant plays with your body in all kinds of ways.

I cannot advise you more strongly to call your doctor. It may be normal, but it could also be a blood clot or any number of other things. The safest thing for you to do for yourself (and baby) is get checked out.

If you doctor wants you to go to the hospital and you don't have anyone to drive you, call an ambulance and don't drive while dizzy.
