When I was roughly 12 weeks I started to feel the little movements. They felt kind of like popcorn, or a butterfly. They seemed to be happening at the same time roughly every day. For the last week I've barely felt them at all. I've felt one or two bigger movements, sort of like somethings pushing from the inside, but I'm not sure if it's the baby or not. It doesn't happen very often. Maybe like once every couple of days.

What I want to know is, do you think it could be my baby moving? How far along were you before you felt yours move? What did it feel like for you when your baby started moving? How often do you feel it move?

Thanks in advance :)

  1. I think it was around 13 weeks for me and yeah...it felt kinda like popcornj.

Don't stress too much, bubs still has lots of room in there so he may have moved into a position where you can't feel it. It is a bit too early to be relying on a kick count to tell you if things are ok. Having said that, if you are worried you shd let your ob know....always better safe than sorry :)

  2. With all my pregnancies i started feeling the little fluttering movements at about 12 weeks but i was told by my midwife that this wasn't baby moving. It can be baby making fast movement and you feel the bubbles and stuff. Baby too small at that point. You won't feel baby moving until about 16 weeks but some woman don't feel baby first movements until they are about 26 weeks. Everyone is different. Don't worry you will soon feel babies punches and kicks. Congrats on baby x

  3. It could have been the baby, and now they have moved to a position that you cannot feel them due to being so small, but to be safe get checked out!! As for me with my first I was 20 weeks when I felt her the first time and with the second it was around 14-15 weeks..

  4. Please do not wait on this, Go To The DR. & get an ultrasound to make sure that everything is okay with the baby.  that does not sound normal, please for your babies sake, got to your DR> TODAY!
