  1. Not that I know of.

Most pet stores won't sell them to people under 18.

Perhaps a local store will, but I don't know of any chain stores that would sell to you.

EDIT: I'm in the US, so I don't know if Scotland has the same laws regarding sale of animals as we do.

  2. well it depends on where you live.

    where do you live???????

  3. Pets at home don't sell to anyone under 16, Just go with a parent, I know I'd be mad if a petshop sold a pet to one of my kids!

I would sugest Gerbils (at least 2) as they are friendlier than hamsters and you will probably find it easier to convice your parents than a rat or mouse.

  4. you could try pets at home. i bought my 2 rats from there when i was 17, im 18 now.

  5. My cousin she bought a fish at pet land and she was 12 so myabe at petland

  6. Well the pet barn....... ummmm the pet barn

  7. How about pets at home?

get a rat a lot better.

  8. Um, you probably should go with a parent. Do you think you can hide a hamster from them? Not really that easy.

And I believe most pet stores have a set age, like 17-18 to buy a rodent.

    My suggestion, ask you parents.

  9. Um all i know is that at Petsmart and Petco you have to be 18 in order to purchase a live animal.
