  1. Yeah it probably will. What you may want to do is start out with like 50 sit ups and then after 1 week add 10 more sit ups, and continue this every week. You may want to do more than 100 eventually. Also, you may want to eat more proteins to gain a little bit more weight, because it will help turn it into muscle.

  2. give it a go and find out.

add push ups to your routine

  3. first of just so you know no matter how many situps you do you wont get abs if you have more than 15%body fat so make sure you have that much or lower fat and then workout

  4. Whew!  I thought you meant a six-pack of beer!  I was going to say, what 14-year-old boy can get that kind of six-pack?  As for body building, I would think a personal trainer could help you to build up that specific area of your abs.  100 sit-ups a day sounds like a bit much, but in any event, you have to build up to your maximum amount gradually.  There are probably other exercises you can also do, and eating the right nutritious diet also plays a part.  You're still pretty young and have a lot of growing and developing to do, so be patient and take it easy.  As you grow bigger and stronger, so will your abs, as they will respond quicker to body-building exercises.  Good luck!

  5. You have to do more then sit ups to get fit.

  6. um yeah it would do that, excersing in general will, dont worry about it yet, no ones gonna see them when ur at school

  7. yeah it probably would, don't forget your obliques and stuff too. A sport that really builds up all of your muscles is running, so maybe do that 3 times a week too along with your sit ups.

    Good Luck!

  8. you should do push-ups but sit-ups are better because they got me

6 pack. u should also try using dumbles

  9. You can excercise and do things to help build your body...but you also have to realize that it is also in the genes.

You are young man still growing.  Do not overdo and hurt yourself....your bones and body are growing and more vulnerable than you think !

You should make sure you let your body rest in between work outs.  Do one set of exercises one day and switch to another one for the next and then go back to the abs!  It is important to let those muscles heal a day before working them too hard again.

Sit ups aren't that bad to do...but if you add other excercises with it...make sure you do them right. Stretch first...warm down after.

  10. my 15 yr old son is a boxer and he does 1000 - not a typo, one thousand- sit ups a day.

i wouldnt advise doing that many-maybe 200 to start with cuz thats how many he does when hes not in training just to stay fit- but yes you will get a six pack.

dont forget your lower abs and your lats so that you have a nice tight s**y core, which im sure is what you want.

  11. Yeah, with me I just had a six-pack after middle school (I didn't even know how I got it), but I was thin, so your routine will probably work.

P.S. right now I'm working on my eight pack.
