i'm very girly..sometimes shy but with my friends and family i'm really outgoing and fun and loud. i can't choose on whether i want to redo my room black, white, gray, purple, and tan or all kinds of bright colors..my room is pretty small so i don't want it to look small...what colors will make it look smaller/larger? also will it be an eyesore if i do either orange and white or red and white stripes? thank you so much for opinions!! xoxo

  1. I'm at the same age, doing the same thing and i have to keep it the same till 18. I'm thinking about doing mine tie-dye.

    But you might not want to do it and its hard but its an idea.

    try : polka dots

           stripes

           or just one color

    Stick with colors you like and won't get sick of.  The colors you thought of sound cool 2 me.   Good Luck! =)

  2. http://www.pbteen.com/stylehouse/dormcen...

    This is good site for ideas and how you want your room to look.

  3. green and blue

  4. You can do whatever colors are your favorites but stick to pastels for wall color... The lighter the color, the bigger your room will look. I like stripes but I'd be afraid of getting dizzy or making my room look like a candy cane. My room is sky blue and my white curtains make my room look bigger and let more light in. Light also helps the room look bigger. I left the flashy patterns for my striped pillow shams and polka-dot bed skirt. So use the bright, eccentric patterns for the little things. Then it'll be girly and exciting but it won't be an eyesore. Good luck with your room. =)

    By the way- I'm 18 and I've had the same room design since I was 14. I'm still happy with it. It's easy to change the little things when the wall is a light, flexible color.

  5. Rainbow!!!!Peace!!!Makeup!!!!!!New Bed Spead!!!Cute Wallpaper!!!

    Peace=]

  6. u could do orange/pink, pink/blue, pink/purple,pink/lime green, the possibillities r endless!!!! hope this sorta helped!!!!

  7. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    I think it would look terrific if you paint your room a pale pink like "young at heart" (# 7109). Then if you want a subltle difference on one wall, you could do vertical stripes in "extra white" (# 7006). It will be fresh & young, but still look sophisticated when you're 18/19.

    You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

    You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
