  1. paper route or cutting lawns

  2. babysitting

  3. how about helping with chores for neighbors or family members? they could pay you

  4. A lot of kids in my town around your age umpire baseball and softball games.. .its usually around $20 per game (games are usually like an hour and a half) so its a pretty good deal.

  5. 1) Tutor younger kids at their kitchen table, with their parents around

    2) Paper route

    3) Babysit kids of families who know you well & like you

    4) Babysit at places like a church during the service

    5) Play a musical instrument for a special occasion

    6) Have a bake sale at a public place. Make all the stuff & sell it.

  6. I would make list of what you can do, almost like a flyer and hand it out to neighbors. maybe you can cut their lawn or help clean up around the yard. Maybe you can try walking some dogs or paper route. Another thing to try is going to a real estate office and offering to hand out their flyers and business cards to the community, like to peoples mail boxes. Use your imagination, go to family members and offer to clean their houses.

Another thing you can do is clean up your house and see if there is anything your parents are welling to sell in a yard sale. Make sure you ask them first. If you have a yard sale, bake some goodies and sell those too. Figure out what you are good at, and try it out. :)

  7. There are alot of things you could do to earn money this summer.  Why don't you make a list of things you can do like maybe cutting lawns or gardening, washing people's cars, babysitting or even get a paper route.  Then, sit down and make another list of those things you might need to be able to do them (a lawn mower? A bucket with some towels and sponges?).  Talk to your mom and dad to see if they might have some other ideas.

Once you get your ideas together, ask your neighbors if they will let you put up flyers to advertise your services (you might even offer to do your services for them for free one time, in return).  Once you start getting your business off the ground, you can make a list of their names and addresses <so you can maybe go back again next summer to work for them>.

If you do line up a job, you want to make sure you are ALWAYS ON TIME, DO THE BEST JOB YOU CAN AND MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN UP ANY MESSES YOU MIGHT MAKE <for example, if you mow someone's lawn, you want to sweep up grass clippings and discard shrubbery clippings, etc.>
