14 yr old & money??

Question

yeah i'm 14, and its summer time, and i really need money. i need it for various reasons, like going to dorney park, and getting gifts for ppl, um getting a jersy for highschool, and just for money to start saving for a car. i can babysit but it jsut seems that everyone already has a babysitter. i'm cpr certified and am really resposible. i can't have a lemonaid stand cuz u need a lisions from on long island, um everyone that lives around me mows there own lawn. i just need something to do that will get me money. :]

I had my own summer lawn and gardening business when I was that age. It's fairly good money,  and a great outdoor job if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. All you need is a lawn mower and a trowel to start off. Hope this helped you.

wash peoples cars, trim their bushes, make grocery runs for other people, do chores around the house

Have a garage sale

Clean people's houses

Put signs around your neighborhood offering babysitting and lawnmowing just in case.  You never know until you put the word out.

You can also go to Plato's Closet.  It's a used clothing store that pays you for giving them your old good-quality clothes!

Sell things on eBay

Ask your parents to give you an allowance if you do chores around the house.  My dad gave me a VisaBuxxx card and uploaded $10 every week on it if I did all of my chores.

first did you say you're from long island,NY?!!! i am too. well not many people in LI have pools at least not ones that need a lot of care. you can walk dogs, it's so hot no one wants to go and walk there dogs OUTSIDE. you can do lots and lots of chores, mow people's lawn, and lots of things that people don't want to do but have to[ to their discretion]

collect pop cans and turn them in for money! my neighbor is 10 and did that and got over $300! im doing it now to save money for trips at school. a lot of people have large outdoor jobs that you can do. my grandma is paying me to clean out her gutters

Ifyou dont want to commit the entire summer doing that why not get with a friend or two and create a sports camp for the local kids

OR

get your some friends together and host a car wash

Plan a garage sale with old toys that you dont play with anymore

Ask your mom or dad to give you a task around the house....maybe you can agree to help conserve electricity by going around and turning off all lights that are not in use etc and ask them to give you the difference in the electric bill

clean out gutters or run errands for neighbors for a small fee.
