Question:

148 on the LSAT?

I have been studying for the LSAT for about 2-3 months now and have taken one practice test under actual timed conditions and did not get such a great score. I'm not sure if I should keep practicing, but even with more practice, it does not seem feasible that my score will go up enough to be considered competitive. Or could it be that I just don't have the mental capacity to handle difficult logical/reasoning problems?

  1. Have you tried a prep course? Sometimes having an instructor demonstrate the necessary thought process for a test helps.

  2. These types of tests are BS anyway because they do not ultimately determine whether you are going to be good at something or not. If this is what you want to do, then don't be discouraged by the results. I would take the LSATs and see what schools you can get into.

The worse is not taking it and wondering what if. If you wind up with a bad score at least you'll know and can move on with your life.
