149 or 152?

Question

I'm about 5'8 and 130pounds..shoe size 10. I can't decided if I should go with a 149 or 152 forum recon. I'd say im at a intermediate level. I'm looking for it to be good in the park but decent all around. lmk what you guys think.

I'm 5'8' about 130 pounds also. I ride a 152. And I'm already looking for a little bit bigger board. I'd go with the 153. I couple cm isn't going to effect your riding much man.

Definately go with the 153, if you buy a board too small you will be disappointed. The recon is a full length board (unlike the WWW and others...forum makes one). If you are looking for a freestyle board, then flat out buy a freestyle board. The recon is forum's entry level so you may be disappointed. it is a great board all the same. I strongly recommend demo'ing it before buying if you get the chance.

If you were to go with a board like the WWW the effective edge and progressive sidecut are increased and the nose and tail are shaved down. I am 5'9" 140 and usually ride a 156 but with the WWW it allows me to run a 151.
