I HAVE A 14 YR OLD MALE SIAMESE IN EXCELLENT HEALTH. BUT I NOTICED A SEBACEOUS CYST THAT ROLLS UP AND DOWN HIS NECK ALONG HIS WIND PIPE - ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PEA. SINCE I AM WORRIED THAT IT MIGHT GROW AND CUT OFF BREATHING AND IMPEDE EATING, I WILL ASK FOR IT TO BE REMOVED. BUT I AM NOTICING TWO MORE THROUGHOUT HIS BODY. DO THEY NEED TO BE REMOVED AS WELL ? I HEAR THEY ARE OF NO FRET AND CAN BE IGNORED. ANY EXPERIENCES ???

  1. Do what Kez said. Don't freak out though, cats can get acne believe it or not. ;)

  2. I popped a sebaceous cyst on my Huskies back.  It was disgusting, but went away.

  3. CAN'T READ YOUR QUESTION CAUSE IT IS IN ALL CAPS.

  4. they are just fatty tissue and happen with age even with humans, they dont really tend to pose a threat as they move freely and rarely grow to such an extent to be removed. i would only consider getting it removed if it did appear to be growing abnormally.Again with age putting them under for an op can prove more difficult and you may not like the outcome.

  5. when you take him to the vet to get them removed, get the vet to check them all. also ask exactly what it is and you can look it up.

hope the cat is ok =]

  6. The one on the throat should be removed. If it is big a vet should take it off. If it's in an abnormal spot like the wee wee or but take it off because your dog will try to l**k it because it's itchy
