  1. I too am having problems with 14clubs.com. I bought some clubs 4 days ago and tried to contact them re. delivery. No answers and they have no phone no. on the site.

As an onliner retailer myself I know this to be very bad practise and it has me worried.

I have just found a phone number at their registered address and have spoken to someone there who says the business is still going but "David's wife has just had a baby" and "he hasn't been around much lately". I have been promised a call back today, the results of which I will post in this thread when I get them. Hope this helps and hope there isn't too much of a backlog - you'd have thought the guy might have suspended his sales if he knew he was likely to not be able to ship goods for a significant period.

I've already sold my other clubs on ebay!!!

Update on 18th. i received an e-mail from the owner, explaining that they had server problems and were not receiving e-mails from the site. My clubs are due tuesday. Hope you have also had success reaching them.

  2. Hi there, it's David from 14clubs.com here.

We have had a few problems with our email server over the last weeks which has been really frustrating and we are now changing to a better service which should iron out this blip.  We normally aim to respons to all contacts within a few hours.

The initial poster has his clubs now I think and Charles' are due on Tuesday.  All of our clubs are handmade to order so take about 7-10 working days.

The reason we don't have a phone number on the site is because we want to keep the costs of our clubs sales as low as possible.  We are still a young company so as we continue to grow that is something we will look at.

Our customers do tell us that their experience with the clubs is just as good as that of main brands at just a fraction of the cost and I would be really interested to hear what the customer on this thread think after they have played with them.

Anyway, enough sales blurb.  Charlie had a really good idea about setting up a blog to update on any short term issues (like email servers!) in the future and I hope to get that up an running soon.

Thanks to Charlie for pointing me in this direction for the opportunity to answer these queries and if anyone needs to contact me and the usual route isn't working you can do so at david14clubs@googlemail.com.

    Thanks and regards,

    David

  3. never heard of them what do they sell golf clubs

  4. I have used them a few times and found them to be very reliable - saved me a mint.  Contact I have is david@14clubs.com who has always sorted me out.

  5. I sent an email to them through their contact process and got no response. Seems like a hard way to do business. I would avoid them. Too many other credible people in the business that you can do business with.

  6. Why anyone would want to buy clubs on line without " feeling " the shaft or head weight or grip size is beyond me. Golf clubs should be as personalized as one's budget will allow. Clubs which fit the person properly result in more confidence and ultimately lower scores.

  7. I've never heard of them.  I went to the website and there's a "contact us" link.
