15, just filled out an appl. for mcdonalds?

Question

I applied for restaurant crew. I already know they let 15 year olds work there, (at the one near me), but has anyone else around my age worked there? what did you do as a crew person? and was it good pay?

I said I could work 5-8 on weeknights.

just wondering what its like! if I get it itll be my first job..*nervous face*

hi, i use to work at mcdonalds but not at your age, i was a manager. the pay for you will not be very good becuause your a minor and coan only work at certain times and up to a certain number of hours a week because of school and child labor laws. the kids that were your age did the order taking. thats pretty much all you can do right now because your to young to work the fry vats, grill, assembly line or go in freezer because of laws. don't worry, you will be fine, just be respectful and pay attention. learning the computer to take orders can seem overwhelming at first but once you know were everythings located on the thing, the job seems really easy.

hi im 14 and work at mcdonalds been working there for about 8 weeks i work at the register, the pay is pretty good i get $9.30 an hour for casual work.

the work is pretty easy takes a while to get used to it and some of the customers are really really stupid and mean and some of them are really nice.

and legally you can work those times that you have chosen on a school week you cannot work longer then 12 hours on a non school week its 38 hours.

on a school day you cannot work past 10pm same as on weekend

this is in australia by the way

You might want to think about working for Chick-fil-A. They pay better and are better to work for.....

At your age, under law, you're not actually allowed to work that late.
