It seems like when I hear about cruises, I only hear about how drunk they got or how many people they met. I'm not againist it, but it seems like you hear nothing of the beaches you went to. Have you ever gone on a cruise? Do people rave about the beaches too, or is it mostly the cruise & partying that makes it fun

  1. It's only a party cruise if you want it to be. There are lots of families on cruises, so there are many people right there who probably don't make parties out of cruises.

I suggest you go on some cruise websites and read the cruise reviews. There are bound to be some beach reviews as well.

Also, there's much more than drinking that makes a cruise fun. There are activities all day long, there are great ports of call, there are clubs at night, great food, etc. You can have fun however you want. Cruising in general is not all about partying and getting drunk.

  2. I have been on three cruises myself and all were to different locations.  It really depends on what cruise line you would be interested in.  Carnival is more partying from what I know.  If you are looking for a relaxed vacation try Norwegian or Celebrity.  Also I know that Princess is a great line to go on.  As for the beaches, it also depends on where you go.  The beaches in Costa Maya were not as nice as the ones in Cozumel.  Everything depends on where you go.  If you have any more questions feel free to email me! =)

  3. The short cruises, the three and four night cruise tend to be the party hardy cruises.  The longer cruises, ones that go for a week or longer tend to attract people who are more interested in travel, seeing new places and trying new things.

When I write my reviews I like to write about what I did and how I felt about what I did.  On a typical one week cruise I might have only two to four alcoholic drinks, so I am not one of the drunks you are reading about.

I'm going to provide you with links to my reviews of my last four cruises so you can see what someone who is not into the party scene writes about ...
