15.4" HP Pavilion dv6000 for students?

hey just bought this laptop yesterday and am questioning if its a good laptop for students...i liked it because of the intel duo centrino 5570 ..2 GHZ with 3GB RAM and 320 GB memory..but i think the size is too big..not sure now if its good for university in september as i want to carry it around like to lectures and such...i was initally looking for a 14.1" laptop but couldnt really find a good one with good features for like 700$..just wondering if anyone could help me is this a good laptop for university or should i return it..i have 2 weeks to do so..thanks so much i just need advice since this is my first laptop!

hi after lagging a 15 inch laptop including mains adapter across london for 2 months between client sites even this got very heavy, no doubt it will do all you ask of it in terms of your work, but how much travelling will you need to be doing? read more below about finding a laptop to suite your needs
