15 Year Old Going To Paris/Southern France With Father and Brother?

Hey Yahoo Answers! I just need to ask one thing. Well, I am going to France June 15 for two weeks with my father as well as my brother. My father knows this country like the back of his hand and speaks fluent French. I speak very good French and will be practicing it there. My dad is a very cool/outgoing guy and my brother is as well. I will be in Paris for a week and Nimes/Nice/Marseilles for a week. What can I urge my father to do to have some fun? Thanks ahead of time!

  1. In Paris the Galleries de Lafayette, and definately the Eiffel Tower, and Sacred heart (The view at night is 1000000% worth it!) Just walking through the city was amazing. The summer solstice festival might still be going on but i can't remember...there are bands playing all over the city on the streets its amazing. In Nice go a little out of town and go to Fragonard it's an amzing perfume facotry. And there is an amazing restaurant in the very center of town, and there is an awesome brick/cobblestone road in the ceneter of town with AMAZING shopping!!! I'm totally jealous. I went to France when I was 14, and I LOVED it and can't wait to go back

  2. Go parasailing in Nice.  My friend and I did it and it was soo fun!

    Ayez l'amusement avec ton voyage!

  3. Well, since your father sounds like quite the francophile, he's presumably already aware that Nîmes reputedly has some of the most impressive Roman ruins in Europe outside of Italy. Visiting the arena there is a must if you haven't already seen it. Similarly, he's undoubtedly already heard of if not actually been to Nice's beachfront area, the famous "Promenade des Anglais". If not, that would be something to visit. And the most famous things to visit in Marseille, from what I gather anyway, are La Canebière and Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde. Oh, and in Paris, some off-the-beaten-path activities include visiting Les Catacombes, as well as any number of things mentioned in the "Paris Voice" (in English) and "Pariscope" (in French). I hope this helps and wish the three of you a great trip.
