15 inch Subs or 12 inch subs for an 05' Monte Carlo?

Question

Would it be better If i went with 2 12's or 2 15's? Im.. kinda leanin towards the 2 15's... If so what kinda of amp I would need? And will if take up my whole trunk space?

I wouldn't eat subs in your car, you might make a mess. If you have to i suggest an Italian sub, but you may want to forgo the mayo, oil and vinegar.

it depends on what you want. You want it loud and shake the h**l out of you car then go 15's. even 12's would do that. But IMO i think 10's sound the best, nice a crisp. I like sound quility over bass. Thats just me.

Go with the 15" subs if you want really low bass. If you want a good all around bass go with 12" subs. If you mostly listen to rap, hiphop, r&b you will happier with the 15" I would recommend getting an amplifier that matches the rms power of the subs. some brands are over rated and some are under rated read some reviews before taking the big leap and buying anything. I have personally had really good performance out of Kicker brand audio and they are under rated on power so you get more bang for your buck. Alot of the spl level depends on the enclosure. Do you have any brands in mind?
