15 inch ford truck rims,,, are there different bolt patterns?

I own a 91 Ford Ranger that has been modified to run 15" wheels( came stock with 14"s) I need a used rim for my spare, my wheels have a 5-bolt pattern but I'm not sure if all the 5 bolt Ford truck wheels are all the same? help! This is a 2-wheel drive truck

  1. By modified, do you mean that you just swapped the 14" rims for a set of 15's? If so, just go to any salvage yard and pick up a rim for it. It doesn't matter if it's off of a 2 or 4 wheel drive. This only matters if you have a 4x4 as the hole in the center of the rim has to be bigger to fit over the 4x4 front hubs. Many Rangers came from the factory with 15's, my '90 4x4 included.This is what I did when I needed one. It only cost me $15.00 for a stock steel rim. It's for a spare, so, who cares what it looks like. The rims off of some Jeeps will fit too, since they have the same bolt pattern-5x4 1/2".


  2. Not all rims are the same, no. I have a 95 f150 with a 5-lug pattern but the hole in the rim for the hub is a wide hole that didnt fit my friends ranger.
