Question:

15 minute school break?

schools starting soon for me, and when we go we have a 15 minute break every day at 10, or around that time. I seriously hate talking to other kids just because most of us have a bad past..my question is, can you give me ideas what to do those dreadful 15 minutes that will help me stay away from them? It's not that I'm stuck up - I'm just not good at talking to people since I'm shy.

any ideas welcome, except walking around the school :/

  1. Keep an interesting book with you and pull it out and act engrossed. Better yet, BE engrossed. You'll be making your point, as well as not wasting the time.

  2. draw, read, write, do homework, origami

  3. well you can do another activity yourself...like bringing something to do that'll keep you away from them...a jumprope? or talk to someone else.other than them

  4. Are they coming up to you and talking to you? Or are they teasing you during this time? If not then you should be friendly with them. You can't go through a whole year without making friends. It would be very lonely. If you do want to stay away from them, see if there are any clubs that you can join. I always used to go to the library to finish off school work, check my emails, borrow books. I even used to go in there (to get out of the cold and rain mostly) to read the newspaper. School can be very lonely without friends, if they are being decent to you then you really shouldn't cold a grudge against them!

  5. go in ur next class, do some homework..

i usually do that when i dont find my friends in all the crowdyness....

or... lock urself in a bathroom stall :P

  6. well good 4 u. im writing this in school right now. bored!

  7. read a book, go on the computers or something, do some homework (lol i h8 h/w), hang with some new friends, listen to music on ipod..

that's the best i could think off..

just try and have fun, make the best of it because once you leave school you'll miss it :\

  8. 15 minutes is not a lot of time to do anything very constructive. Perhaps you can get acquainted with the school librarian become a helper or just have a look around at the books. I know this might seem to be a bit boring, but you never know you might enjoy the time spent reading and looking at new and interesting things. Are you able to obtain lunch passes at your school? perhaps you can get one and take a walk down the street. good luck!

  9. stay in the washroom.

  10. when i want to avoid talking to people during the break i usually go to my locker to drop off junk or just walk around, just about every time i find someone else to talk to for 5 minutes.

15 minutes isn't much of anything, it goes by quickly you don't really have much to worry about.
