15 month old height and weight?

My 15 month is 22 lbs and 28 1/2 inches tall. I'm a little concerned that she's been 28 1/2 inches tall since she was 8 months old. That's 7 months of not growing. She keeps gaining weight, but not height. She's not fat, in fact everyone always says how skinny she is, but I'm just concerned if she keeps gaining weight and not height she's going to start getting fat...She runs around a lot so it's not like she's inactive, but I'm just worried she's not getting any taller. I was wondering how tall are other 15 month olds and how much do they weigh? I also was wondering if anyone knew where to find a height-weight ratio chart...I can find growth charts just not a height-weight ratio one. Thanks!!!

  1. you can only go by the growth charts so much. My little nephew is 15 months and is 24 lbs and about 30 inches tall he's quite petite. my son is 5 months old and about 26 inches tall and weighs 22lbs but he's just solid. he's just a very healthy growing boy. you never know how your baby will distribute weight and height.

  2. I was wondering about my son's height too. he will be 9 months old in a few days. he seems to be gaining weight but not getting any taller. he was 19 1/2 lbs. and 28 1/2" at his 6 month checkup. I try weighing and measuring him at home...he's about 21 lbs now ...but height still looks like 28 1/2".he's a happy , healthy little guy. guess i will see what the doc says about his height at his 9 month check up.....hopefully he is growing just fine for him.   i'm sure your baby is doing just fine too.  good luck! :o)

  3. http://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts

This does have the height weight chart.

    Her height is 5th%tile

    Her weight is between 25th-50th%tile

Her length vs. weight puts her in the 90th%tile

  4. my son is 18 pounds 29 in      and he is 6 months old and 3 days :)  now my daughter was the same way  keep gaining weight but not getting taller, but now shes 3 and shes catching up

  5. The best thing to do is put a call into your pediatrician if you are super concerned. But I wouldn't be too worried. Kids grow at their own rate and speed. As long as she eats healthy meals and gets plenty of exercise.....

My 4 year old was kind of short for a little while then he grew over two inches in just a couple of months. Kids just sometimes have growth spurts. Rather than growing a little everyday- sometimes they just sprout up out of nowhere.

I remember I bought him some pants for the next season that were too big and put them in the drawyer and by the time it came around to wear them - they were too small.

Also my 17 mo. old is just about the same weight. I am not too sure of his current height- but I also know genetics plays a role. It depends on how tall you and her father are. It's good to know you are concerned and keeping track of your little girl - just keep doing the best you can and try not to worry :)

Here is a link to a chart- I'm sure you'll find all is well- even if the percentages don't match up - still don't worry - my 17 mo old at his last check up was in the 50th for head and height - but only 5th for weight- he is healthy and active and smart- and eats well- he is just tiny like me - I guess- just don't worry :)
