so this may seem like a silly question, who would complain about their baby sleeping too much, right? But I was just wondering if this seems normal or not.

This is my 15 month old daughters daily sleep routine, can anyone tell me if their baby slept this much at this age?

wakes up anywhere between 7am-8am, naps from about 10am-11:30am, naps again around 4pm-5pm (sometimes longer, but I never let her go past 6pm) then is in bed between 8pm and 8:30pm. And she sleeps through the night. This has been her regular sleep schedule for the last 8 months or so, but I thought by now, she's be cutting down on her nap time....don'tge tme wrong, I'm not complaining, it's great to get house work done, I was just curious! Thanks a bunch!

  1. Kids will usually switch to one nap a day any time between 12 and 18 months.  It is fine that she still takes two naps a day.  If you want to try and change her schedule you could let her sleep for half an hour only in the morning and then she will want to nap earlier in the afternoon and will slowly move to that one nap a day.  Some kids just need more sleep than others.

  2. sounds normal, enjoy it while you can.

  3. That sounds like my daughter sleeping routine.  I don't think your daughter is sleeping that much.  Sometimes I wish she would sleep more during the day than at night, so I can take a nap.  She is 9 months
