  1. My last appointment was at 15 weeks and 3 days I reported the exact same thing to my doctor and he told me that it is perfectly normal. He said that  it is from the stretching making room for the growing baby. It can sometimes be gas too.

    Good Luck

  2. dull pains are going to be the norm for a while. Its your ligaments in your abdomin stretching to release your uterus higher toward your belly button. Nothing to be concerned about unless they come really unbearable. But to be safe I would tell your Dr.

  3. Yes its called round ligament pain! Try a hot bath! If your concerned call your dr!

  4. It may be nothing, as my wife had pain during that period as well, however, do not wait to see a doctor if you have a concern. I know many who did that and regretted it in the end. Consult your doctor immediately.

  5. Most cramps and pains are normal. If the start gettin really severe, thats when you should worry. It should never REALLY hurt.

  6. It is probably your round ligments stretching but you can mention it to your doctor.  I tell me doctor about my pains at every visit.

  7. Could very well be Braxton Hicks contractions.  Here is a guideline to them.  If you don't have a doctor, please go to a minor emergency clinic. They take all forms of insurance as well as medicaid.

    Braxton Hicks vs. True Labor

Contractions don't get closer together.     Contractions do get closer together.

Contractions don't get stronger.     Contractions do get stronger.

Contractions tend to be felt only in the front.     Contractions tend to be felt all over.

Contractions don't last longer.     Contractions do last longer.

Walking has no effect on the contractions.     Walking makes the contractions stronger.

Cervix doesn't change with contractions.     Cervix opens and thins with contractions.

  8. yes

  9. ya see the doc, it might because the baby is starting to grow and smoosh ur inside

  10. pregnancy comes with ALL sorts of different pains..I am constantly having cramps, feelings light-headed and dizzy, and I STILL feel like I am gonna puke throughout the day and I am 6 months pregnant....I wouldn't worry about it too much...I would bring it up at your next appointment at least, but if it is bothering alot then at least make a call to the office and describe what your having over the phone to see if it's important enough to go in....I have discussed all my many pains with my doctor and they were normal...the one time I did go into the office is when my baby wasn't moving...you should be fine, the doctor probably would have noticed something might go wrong at your other visits....but again, if it is bothering you that much at least make the call to the office and they should tell you if you need to go in asap or not..

  11. yes...you should definately speak to your doctor about anything that concerns you...I know there are certain things that may sound harmless or silly but it doesnt hurt to ask...better safe than sorry right?

  12. It won't hurt to call and let your Dr know. It's probably normal, but better to be safe. Don't take a hot bath though, it can raise your body temp which isn't good for the baby. No heating pads either. I had pain with my first and even more now with twins. It's been quite painful this time and they keep telling me I'm OK. It's a little nerve wracking though and it's hard not to worry. It will probably benefit you just to call and take it off your chest. Don't feel bad about bothering them, that's what they're there for. Good luck.
