I'm a 15 year old male and i need to get in shape

i used to be in good shape when i went to school but since Oct 2006 i left public school and was home schooled, i used to be one of the best athletes in my grade but now I've gotten weaker and i tire quickly on very little physical work, i need to build some muscles and build my stamina so if anyone can tell me what some good exercises that i can do at home, that would help me

  1. Work out any time possible. What i stated with was curl bars as much as i could do and 100 push ups every night.


  2. I think you should try p90x that they show on tv. It really does work. If you don't want to pay to buy it then you can download all 12 videos for free from limewire.

    You will get in the best shape of your life.

  3. pushups, situps, chinups, crunches.

    Those are all good to keep you fit.

    Then running, swimming, riding bike, ice skating, rowing boat...all those are good cardio and also keep your strength up.

    If you have access to weights you can do some lifting to increase strength and muscle size also.


  4. What physical activities do you enjoy?  You can still bike ride, jog, skateboard, etc.

    Are there any community sports in your area?  The sports through the public school are not your only option-look for community basketball, football, baseball leagues.  Perhaps a swim team?

    Join the YMCA and/or gym.  

    Do you belong to a homeschool support group?  My children are homeschooled, and the group we are a part of has PE days.  Also, check out the Presidential Fitness Challenge.

    Visit the library and check out books about strength training.  

    My children have the Nintendo Wii, and while it is a game, some of them are very physically exerting-especially the boxing on the Wii Sports.
