15 year old son rejected by Dad and new Step Mom

I'm in the same position. :/
Although, i'm 16 and im a girl.
My parents split when i was a baby and my dad moved away. he didnt see me that often when i was little, but when i hit around 13 ,i guess, my dad re-married and things just went really downhill. I ended up in hospital and he came to see me but was rude to me. I didnt see him for about a year after that. But then my step mum had a baby and i saw him (on my birthday which my dad forgot). After that i got a message, my dad stopped all contact. He said he never wanted to see me again. I tried calling him, but he changed his numbers.

Its now been over a year since i last saw him, and although the pain of being rejected still hurts, it hurts less than it did. After my dad blamed me for his failures i had a breakdown and had to go councelling. Things are much better and i only have one appointment left before i stop.

Dont let your dad ruin your life ! I wasted too much time crying and being depressed, when i now realise he wasnt worth it.

Things will get better. I promise you. I've been there , done that ;)

One day my dad, and your dad will realise the mistakes they have made, and i cant wait till i can turn around to my dad and tell him to stick it. :D
