  1. The trains are magnificent in UK. they are really nothing at all like American train systems. It is very safe, probably one of the safest. And generally speaking the English are very kind and you have nothing at all to worry about. They are also very clean and comfortable. You'll have an enjoyable trip. But make sure to keep in mind "stranger danger" just in case. And if anything goes wrong the train operators can take care of it for you.

  2. the trains arent always on time!  Other than that you'll be fine sweetheart, theres very little trouble on the trains, don't worry about it

  3. i'm sure you will be fine

British trains and stations are very safe, as they have their own Police (British Transport Police) to look after passangers and Police the railways, and they are at most major stations and in quite large numbers.

  4. what day are you travelling and at what times?  Peak hour will mean busy trains (sometimes with no seat unless you've booked one).

Apart from that it's fine.  I travel with my kids on the trains in the UK quite often and over the past 5 years or so, they've greatly improved.

If it is a direct journey with no changes, then so much the better.

  5. The trains in the UK are very nice and comfortable, and depending on where you are going, the scenery can be fantastic. It's probably one of the safest and best ways to travel in the UK. Enjoy!

  6. very safe but often late and can be expensive. the actual journey will be fine

  7. You will be fine, It is very easy if you have people putting you on and off the train. As long as you know who the people are each end I am sure you will have no problem.

If you get stuck, most people in the UK are very nice and would help out a nice 15yr old girl. Dont be afraid to ask.

And make sure if anyone offers you a lollypop for a ride in the back of their car you refuse :P

Have an awesome trip, you will love it

  8. You should be fine, if you're being picked up at either end, you should be perfectly safe. If you have any issues, just contact a member of onboard staff. I always feel safe on public transport, and ive travelled many places alone from the age of just 9
