150 Amp fuse question!

Question

Right now i have an 80 amp fuse connected to my power wire cuz i had an alpine PDX1.1000 watt amp so that fuse would work fine. But now i have a kicker ZX1500.1 amp which is 1500 watts total. I am thinking i should put in the 150 amp fuse sine the kicker amp is more power. What do you guys think. Yes?...No?

if your going to put in 150 amp fuse in, upgrade the cable. 150 amps geez your gunna be riggin in one h**l of a big cable mate. hope your car/battery can handle it.

Since kicker amps usually put out more watts than their specs claim it wouldn't hurt to put a 150 amp fuse on your power wire

You definitely what to up grade your fusing going with the larger Kicker amplifier, it should have come with the fuse and fuse holder from the factory, I would recommend a 180 - 200 amp ANL type fuse and holder within 18" of the amplifier.
