1500 meter training tips?

I need some training tips for 1500 meter races?(running)

  1. week long training...

    1. 3 miles easy

    2. 6x400s, 6x200s with 400 and 200 jog recovery in between each, keep even pace but sprint

    3. 8miles easy

    4. 4 repeat 800s race pace, 4 150s all out sprint

    5. 3 miles easy

    weekends just go for mileage

  3. run a mile ever day because a mile is 1600 meters. and run alot for 1 hour and 30 minutes

  4. 2 days run distance of 3 to 5  miles, and 1 day of tempo.

    2 days run intervals, depending on  the time of the season they should be 8x200 up to 3x1200, adjusting the times, rests and number of repeats.

    You must do stress work so your body is conditioned to running at race pace.

    You must do speed work so you can run fast.

    You must do endurance work.

    The best way to race is to run an even pace.

    You can't go out slow and hope to out kick the others.

    If you go out too fast you will slow down the last half of the race.
