1500 meters, is my time good?

Question

Today on our track meet I got 6:18

it was a 1500 meters race.

i came in 1st.

I'm 8th grade girl.

[first year in track]

in my country (NZ) ur time wouldnt get you into a final,

but if you train hard you can do good.

when I was in 8th grade, I was getting around 5:14-5:20, and I was getting 2nd or 3rd, sometimes 1st.

But I would say that your time is decent, to be honest.  A really good runner would be lower than that.  But hey, not much people can run what you can so keep on going.  Run!!!

Thats really good, and im in 8th grade too. My friend can run a 5:42 mile on average, and he is a guy. He has diabetes, so he runs alot. Considering that you did it was a good time, ( considering the extra 100m) Congrats on your first place!

Yep, considering that's around a 6:35 mile, yes, it's good.

no i am in 6th grad and that is not a grate time i get like 6:30 and that is like 6th or so
