1500w alpine sub, whant amp do i need?

i have just bought a 1500w alpine sub, and i have a 600w alpine v12 amp, will this do or will i have to get a 1500w amp to get the best out of my 1500w sum?? and is there any amps you would recomend 4 this sum??

is that 1500w RMS or peak. check the rms rating and get an amp with the same or higher rms rating. i cant recommend any amps without knowing the rms and ohm ratings.

that amp will work but not to the subs potential. i would reccomend a 1500w amp class D mono. some sites i been looking at include edesignaudio.com, i also like the crossfire but dunno alot about their amps i know they are mostly under rated but very good
