He gets a fresh nappy right before bedtime (about 7:30) then has a 200ml bottle. He usually sleeps through until 8:30am.

For the past couple of weeks he is either wet from knee to belly button when he wakes or is up at 4am because he's wet through.

I have him in 10-15kg Cien nappies at the moment which have been great & still fit really well. I was told by the staff at the baby store boys tend to be bigger wetters & he is a tummy sleeper, which I'm sure makes it worse.

I have tried 13-18kg Babyloves - no help

I also tried (on recommendation) adding a booster pad. I have tried this with the Cien & Babylove nappies - still wet through.

My next step is to try the bigger Cien nappies or try giving him his milk earlier.

If that doesn't work does anyone know of a product especially for heavy wetters?

Please don't just tell me to try Huggies. (I tried them when we went up to 10-15kg size & found the Ciens much better & half the price)

  1. They have pull-ups that you can buy that are called Good Nights and they are super absorbent.  Not sure if they sell them there, but if they do, it is worth a try.  Also you could give him his milk earlier if the Good nights do not work.  Good luck.

  2. It does seem that either the size or the brand just isnt working for him anymore..

that Or I would try moving his last bottle up a bit earlier. that way he may have a chance to pee before you put him in the night nappie so that one has a bigger chance of not leaking...

my son started doing this to around 18 months so I went up a size in diapers and moved his night time cup up an hour.  no more wet baby in the morning

    good luck

  3. dont give him a bottle so close to bed time....i noticed my daughter would wet through to the bed when she would drink something right before she went to sleep

  4. I don't get it, you say ciens nappies are better yet still your boy is wet every morning? Obviously they are not working too well for him at all.

If the price of nappies is an issue then try the coles or woolworths home brands as a recent survey on a brisbane lifestyle show has proven these brands to be of better quality and most mothers said these homebrands were nearly as good as the huggies brand.

  5. The brand of diapers can make a difference. I would buy a small pack of different brand and try it out.

  6. He just might need you to wake up at 2 am and change his diaper. Not much work, it does suck to get up at that time of night.Good Luck!

  7. My niece had the same problem.  Instead of giving the child a full bottle before bed time try to give him half.  Also try feeding the child more solids during dinner so there tummy is full.

You can also try putting your child on the toilet before bedtime.  Its never to early.

    I hope this helps you.
